My Best Study Tips for You: Let’s Make Learning Lovely
Hey there, bestie! If you’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed by your books or your screen lately,
I want you to take a deep breath. Studying is a journey, not a race. We are all learning and growing at our own pace, and that is a beautiful thing.
I’ve been experimenting with different ways to study while building Rabbityy and Rabbitelle,
and I’ve found that the best tips aren't the ones that make you work harder they’re the ones that make you work happier.
Here are my very favorite, super-soft study tips just for you.
1. Make It Aesthetic (Because You Deserve It!)
I truly believe that if your study space looks cute, you’ll actually want to sit down and work.
I don't mean you need to buy expensive things! Just clear your desk, put out a vase with a single flower, or use a soft-colored blanket on your chair.
When your environment feels like a cozy sanctuary, your brain stops feeling "stressed"
starts feeling "inspired." Treat your study desk like a little studio where you create your future. It changes everything!
2. The "Pomodoro" Rhythm
I know, I know you’ve heard of the Pomodoro technique before! But let’s make it cozy.
Instead of just "working," think of it as a rhythm. Work for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break to stretch, sip your tea, or look out the window.
After four "rounds," give yourself a longer break. It’s like a little dance work, rest,
work, rest. This keeps you from hitting that "afternoon slump" and keeps your brain feeling fresh and happy all day long.
3. Record Your Own "Audio Notes"
This is a fun trick! When I’m studying a language or a difficult topic,
I like to record myself explaining the concept on my phone like I’m a teacher or a podcaster. Then, I listen to my own recording while
I’m taking my walk or doing my Pilates.
It’s a great way to review information without having to look at a screen.
Plus, hearing your own voice explaining something complex makes you realize just how much you actually know! It’s a huge confidence booster, bestie.
4. Use "Anchor" Songs
I have a very specific "study playlist" that I only listen to when I’m focused on my work.
Over time, my brain has started to associate those soft, instrumental tracks with "getting things done."
When I’m feeling distracted, I just hit play, and like magic, my brain shifts into "study mode."
It’s like a little musical anchor that keeps you steady in your work.
5. Stop the "Multitasking" Myth
Have you ever tried to study, watch a YouTube video, and reply to
messages all at the same time? We’ve all done it, but it’s actually really tiring for your brain!
Try "monotasking" instead. Give all your attention to just one thing for a set amount of time.
If you’re writing, just write. If you’re designing, just design. You will finish your work so much faster,
and you’ll feel less tired at the end of the day. It’s so much more peaceful!
6. Write It Out by Hand (Even If It’s Digital!)
Even though I love my digital tools like Rabbitie, I still believe
in the power of writing things down. If I’m really struggling to memorize a definition or a code snippet,
I write it out by hand in my notebook.
The physical act of writing helps your brain process information differently.
It makes the knowledge "stick" better. Plus, there is something so satisfying about the sound of a pen on paper.
It’s a very grounding, cozy feeling.
7. Find Your "Golden Hour"
We are all different. Some of us feel most creative at 6:00 AM while the world is still asleep,
and others (like me!) love the quiet focus of the late morning.
Pay attention to when you feel most alert, and try to protect those hours for your hardest work.
Don’t waste your "Golden Hour" on busy work or emails! Save it for the things that need your best brainpower.
8. The "Two-Minute" Rule
If a task on your to-do list takes less than two minutes like sending an email or saving a file
do it right now. Don't put it on the list! It keeps your list from getting cluttered and keeps your momentum going.
When your list is short and clear, you feel much less pressure.
You Are Growing So Much
Studying isn't just about grades or finishing a project; it’s about discovering what you’re capable of.
You are a creator, a student, and a designer, and every bit of effort you put into your work is adding to
the amazing person you are becoming.
Be patient with yourself. If you have a day where you can't focus, that’s okay.
Tomorrow is a brand new page. You have all the time you need to learn everything you want to know. I’m cheering for you, always!
